A wireframe is a two-dimensional illustration of a page’s interface that focuses on allocating content space and priority, available features, and projected behaviors. For these reasons, styling, color, or graphics are often absent from wireframes. These wireframes tend to be very helpful for programmers and designers when creating web pages.
