Eligible students in Digital Scholar’s four-month online programme receive placement assistance for up to three months after course completion. Support covers full-time roles and internship opportunities, preparation sessions, applications through PrepSOM and interview coordination.

What placement assistance includes

- Portfolio building: support in organising work that shows your own contribution.
- Interview practice: mock interviews through PrepSOM, our job-application portal.
- Opportunity notifications: job opportunities are shared in PrepSOM, with email notifications to students.
- Interview coordination: the team shares employer opportunities and helps coordinate interview schedules.
Who is eligible?

Placement eligibility and certificate eligibility are separate. The certificate requirements explain attendance, assignments, projects and examination scores. Being able to join a course does not automatically mean you qualify for every employer’s vacancies.
How the process works
- Complete the required work. Finish coursework and assessments, and confirm your eligibility with the placement team.
- Prepare your application. Attend resume, LinkedIn and portfolio sessions before applying.
- Use PrepSOM. Review relevant opportunities, submit applications and use the mock-interview facilities.
- Attend interviews. The placement team helps coordinate with employers. Selection and compensation depend on the employer and your interview performance.
Placement-team salary summary
For the six months ending 17 September 2026, the placement team reports the following full-time annual CTC figures for a sample of 114 students. The reporting period was confirmed by Digital Scholar. Campus and delivery-mode breakdowns have not been supplied for this summary, so these are not online-programme-only results.

LPA means lakh rupees per annum. CTC is the employer’s annual cost to company, not monthly take-home pay. The team states that these figures use employer-offered compensation verified through offer letters, with internship stipends recorded separately and excluded. These aggregate figures are reported by the placement team and have not been independently audited or recalculated from a matching 114-student dataset.
What counts as a placement?
The placement team counts a student who secures either an internship or a full-time job as placed. Freelance projects and self-employment are excluded. A student with multiple offers is counted once. The salary summary above uses full-time annual CTC only; it does not combine salaries with internship stipends.
Why does an earlier workbook show a different median?
An earlier analysis of a consolidated workbook contained 138 entries. Of those, 107 had one annual package value, producing a median of ₹2.5 LPA. That extraction included mixed role designations. The placement team’s subsequent summary uses 114 students and explicitly describes full-time annual CTC. The samples are different and have not yet been reconciled record by record. They must not be combined or treated as a change in student performance.
A placement rate is not published here because the eligible cohort denominator has not been supplied. The 114-student salary sample is not that denominator. No figure on this page is a guaranteed outcome or an institute-wide all-time salary record.
Common questions
Does Digital Scholar guarantee placement?
No. Digital Scholar provides placement assistance. Employers make hiring and compensation decisions. Completion of the course does not guarantee a job, interview selection or a particular salary.
When does placement assistance begin?
The placement team supports students after course completion for up to three months. Preparation sessions take place before students begin applying for jobs.
Can I apply for internships without an undergraduate degree?
That depends on the employer. The placement team states that internship degree requirements follow the hiring company’s criteria. Confirm your eligibility for the specific opportunity before applying.
Are online-course outcomes reported separately?
The team can prepare separate online-programme reporting, but a mode-specific breakdown is not included in the supplied 114-student summary. Ask for the latest relevant cohort report when evaluating outcomes.
